Jeep ride photos - Red Cone Pass

Photos from Mike'sJeep ride on 8/30. Very fun trail and the scenery was amazing. Trail is called redcone and the photos do not show how steep some of the sections really are. Going down I had stuff in the back of the jeep hitting the dash and had to give it gas to avoid traction loss in low gear!

Bath time

Allison is getting much better at enjoying bathtime. Much less screaming, which we think is great progress! Nothing beats the smell of a clean baby, and she is adorable in her little hooded towels.

Alli is almost 1 month old already!!!

We can't belive, but Allison is almost one month old. She is changing every day and we are loving every moment we spend with her.

More than two weeks old already!!

We are begining to think everyone is correct when they say time will fly by with your kids. Allison is still doing great, and getting bigger everyday. She is now 8lbs 1oz and 20.5 inches!

1st full week with Allison

Allison is now officially one week old. In the last week she has changed so much we can hardley believe it. She spends much more of the day peacefully taking the world in with her blue eyes. She also has a lot of awake time at night, however she is improvig there as well. Allison loves to be held, and has trouble sleeping without our touch. It does not help us sleep much so we are glad she has started to like sleeping in her rocker. The bassinet we thought she would be sleeping in at night is still largely unused, but there is always hope for next week!

Other big events for the week:

Allison is also starting to smile. May just be gas, but it looks like a smile and she definately has a dimple on her right cheek, and possibly one on her left.

We have taken her on walks around the park and she has started to enjoy the whole ride without crying. Dante is starting to recongnize Allison's stroller as a sign he is going on a walk.

Allison Rose Hockett Arrives

Allison Rose Hockett arrived at 1:26pm, July 30th 2009. She was 20" long and weighed 7 lbs 10 oz. Beth did an amazing job and she looks and feels great. We were able to head home from the hospital the afternoon of the 31st and are now enjoying the company of Allison in our Home. Our dog Dante is very curious and already seems to be protective of the new addition to the family.
